Midcity is an excellent space for outdoors activities, with several parks, large sidewalks, neutral grounds and Lafitte Greenway, which connects MidCity to the historic Treme neighborhood. |

Next door to this grocery store are 2 coffee shops, an Office Depot, Pizza Hut and several locally owned restaurants, such as the longtime MidCity fixture, Angelo Brocato Gelato and Bakery. |

New Orleans is famous for its Jazz and Heritage Festival and Midcity is the neighborhood where the Festival makes its home. Every year this Festival brings thousands of people to New Orleans and this neighborhood is the perfect setting, with its peaceful streets, vibrant and plentiful restaurants and easy access to all parts of the city. Midcity also includes the historic Bayou Rd, which is a must see location for all who visit. |
SchoolsMorris Jeff Elem, Foundation Preparatory Charter and Cabrini High school are just 3 of the schools located in MidCity. Cabrini High school sits on a beautiful canal and is just steps away from City Park.
Morris Jeff Elementary is a few blocks from the beautiful Lafitte Greenway, with its focus on community engagement and utilization of green space. Foundation Prep is also near City Park but unlike Cabrini High, it is walking distance to the Fairgrounds, home of the New Orleans Jazz Festival. |
